Working with the local community
We fully recognise the potential impact that the activities of our Company can have on our employees, customers, suppliers, partners and the wider community and environment in which we operate.
To minimise the impact of our actions, we have adopted a proactive approach to Corporate Social Responsibility and are committed to acting in a socially responsible manner, with consideration for those around us, at all times. We are committed to giving back to the community. We support arts workshops in our local schools, sponsor the Manchester Camerata and provide a bursary for a sixth-form science student at Bolton School in association with the Ogden Trust. We provide a grant in conjunction with the David Camplin Education Trust to cover the extraordinary costs of a sixth-form student at Loreto College, Moss Side, in their first year at university. We sponsor the Sale Town Under 13s Pirates, who play in the Timperley & District Junior Football league and also the Lowry at Salford Quays, at the heart of the regenerated docklands, which seeks to bring together a wide variety of performing and visual arts under one roof.
