Haden Freeman Limited began a three-year sponsorship of the Chemical Industry Awards in 2007; the premier accolades for the UK Chemical Industry. The award category being sponsored by HFL is the Company of the Year award and this year it was won by Johnson Matthey.

The 2007 Annual Awards Dinner for the ISPE UK Affiliate arrives at the Manchester Hilton Hotel on November 15th and Haden Freeman is proud to be one of the event sponsors where ex Conservative Health Minister Edwina Currie is providing the after dinner speech.

During the daytime Conference the Haden Freeman Group are providing one of the speakers and are also present at the associated table-top exhibition.

HFL’s Lindon Roberts is the ISPE UK Affiliate Chair for 2007-09.

HFL is in its third year of sponsoring The Haden Freeman Concert Hall at the RNCM. Nigel Hirst, has been instrumental in introducing many HFL guests to classical music and the company has supported a wide variety of events. The company sponsors several RNCM and Junior RNCM students through the creation of the Haden Freeman bursaries.

Project LINX

Project Linx logo

Project LINX was a unique musical voyage aimed at raising funds and awareness for the Born Free Foundation, protecting the future of wildlife in Africa.

HFL was proud to support the Project LINX Expedition which launched on the 18th November 2006 from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.

The Project Vehicle was shipped out to Mombassa where the Project LINX Team picked up their route to the Global Friends Schools. Working along side the Ethiopian Wolf Project, the team was able to encourage the children to take a more active role in conservation whilst at the same time delivering vital school materials and musical instruments to further their education.

Project LINX has generated over £70,000 with a further £30,000 being spent on specific ongoing projects in Africa.

The Lowry opened on 28th April 2000, bringing together a wide variety of performing and visual arts under one roof. Opening its door to the best in entertainment and education in the arts, The Lowry aims to give everyone access to new areas of creativity and to embrace its broad community.

Haden Freeman Group have taken out Corporate Membership of the Lowry in the form of sponsoring a private box and becoming Quay Club members enabling us to entertain clients and to enjoy the best in entertainment and education in the arts.
