The client has been a world leader in environmental services since 1983 managing all kinds of environmental liabilities in a sustainable manner. The client serves all industries from petrochemicals to aerospace and hospitals.
The client operates an incinerator for hazardous healthcare waste. The plant was built by GEC Alstom in 1997 to burn 975 kg/hr but has never exceeded about 750kg/hr despite careful operation, plant tests and small modifications.
The objective of this project is to review the system from a process perspective, suggest and design engineering solutions and provide budget costs to alleviate the issues.
