Bio Products Laboratory Ltd (BPL) is a Government owned not for profit organisation which turns blood plasma into a range of life saving products. It is committed to research and development to maintain a key position in a constantly changing market in the 21st century.
Our Response
HFL was able to mobilise at short notice to provide:
CDM preparation activities.
Principal Contractor role.
Liaison with BPL personnel prior, during and post shutdown.
Summary documentation package and report upon shutdown completion.
Post shutdown presentation to BPL.
Result
BPL’s shutdown was completed on time with full compliance to the regulations and without any accidents or incidents.

Requirement
BPL had planned a major plant shutdown incorporating tasks to be completed by over sixty external contracting companies and an internal maintenance team. Full CDM services were required for the six week shutdown.
